The Park has been set up to promote the growth of garment, hosiery, and apparel industry in the state. |

| Park Information |
 |
| The Garment Park is being developed in two phases. Phase-I of the Garment Park is fully developed and Phase-II of the Park is presently being developed and is expected to be completed in July, 2010. When fully developed, the project will have a total built up space of 6,75,000 sq ft. comprising of Five Standard Design Factories (SDF) for setting up manufacturing units and a Common Facilities Building (CFB) for setting up supporting facilities for efficient functioning of the manufacturing units. |

Designed to afford maximum flexibility to the owners for re-designing internal layouts, best suited to their respective businesses |

The civil construction of two SDF Buildings consisting of 40 modules altogether are underway as Phase II of the project |

| Employment Opportunities |

The modules which are operational in the park already employ more than 1000 people either directly or indirectly. On completion of the whole project, the park is supposed to provide direct employment to over 8000 people and indirect employment to nearly 24,000 people.
