| West Bengal State Delegation participates in 1st Prabasi Bangiya Sammelan,Doha |
|
| A two-member Delegation from West Bengal Government comprising of Shri Utpal Mukherjee, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industries, Government of West Bengal and Shri Dipankar Chowdhury, Private Secretary to Shri Nirupam Sen, the Honourable Minister, Department of Commerce and Industries, Industrial Reconstruction, Public Enterprises and Development and Planning, Government of West Bengal, participated in the 1st Prabasi Bangiya Sammelan organised by the Non Resident Overseas Association of Bengal [NROAB] at Doha, Qatar on the 21st and 22nd January, 2010. The two-day Conference was inaugurated by H E Smt. Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, the Indian Ambassador in Qatar. The Conference was attended by noted NRIs/OCIs from 12 countries. The Delegation interacted with them and gave a detailed presentation highlighting investment opportunities in different sectors like chemicals, petrochemicals, engineering, infrastructure and food processing in West Bengal. |
