HALDIA PETROCHEMICALS LIMITED
Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd is a modern naphtha based Petrochemical Complex located 125 kms from Kolkata, at Haldia, West Bengal, India.

It is jointly promoted by West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, The Chatterjee Petrochem (Mauritius) Co. Ltd. and the Tata Group with an investment of $1.2 Billion.

The complex consists of a naphtha cracker unit and associated plants which manufacture:
Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Polypropylene (PP)
Chemicals
The main products are:-

Polyethylene: HALENE L (LLDPE) & HALENE H (HDPE)

HPL manufactures 260 KTA of LLDPE and HDPE with Licence from Basell, The Netherlands using "Spherilene Gas Phase Swing Process" and 300 KTA of HDPE and HMHDPE with Licence from Mitsui, Japan, using "Slurry CX Process".

Polypropylene : Halene P (PP)

HPL manufactures 300 KTA of Polypropylene with Licence from Basell, The Netherlands using Spheripol II technology.

Spheripol process is the most widely accepted technology for manufacturing Homopolymers and Copolymer grades. The unique process capabilities and high consistency in product morphology ensure excellent quality.

C4 Hydrogenated (LPG)
Pyrolysis Gasoline (Py Gas)
